Clothing lines are seeing women’s demand for quality and style increase in a big way, says an analyst.
While men continue to dominate the industry, women are starting to gain some ground, says Marc Poulin, head of global merchandising at PwC.
“Women are increasingly interested in quality, style and service over price, and this is starting to show up in the fashion market,” he says.
“The trend for women’s clothes is really good, with the trend for men’s clothing rising as well.”
Pouel said it’s not a new trend, but the market is starting, and it will continue to grow.
“Women are very good at selecting their favourite styles, they know how to make good decisions and they can use that to make money,” he said.
The new trend for a more diverse selection of women’s clothing is also expected to drive the rise in prices.
“It’s a little bit of a counter-intuitive, but women are now more conscious of the price of their clothing,” Poulan said.
Men’s clothing companies will be looking to capitalize on this trend, as they’ve been doing for a while. “
It’s more about what women want, and the way women look and the clothes they want.”
Men’s clothing companies will be looking to capitalize on this trend, as they’ve been doing for a while.
In 2014, Gap launched a line of pants that included high-waisted jeans that included a belt and shoulder pads.
The pants were launched to compete with men’s trousers, but Gap has since launched a range of pants in men’s and women’s sizes.
“I’m sure that women will be more willing to spend more money for their clothes, especially in the event of a bigger event, like a wedding,” Pounin said.
Gap says its sales have grown 50 per cent in the past three years.
But it also faces a new challenge in its sales.
Pouni says its new business model means it’s struggling to stay relevant.
“We’re not able to compete anymore,” he told Business Insider.
But Pounis believes he has a solution to the problem: he wants to offer women a better, cheaper way to buy clothes. “
So we are starting from scratch.”

“Men’s clothes are not going to survive as long as they are, because the demand for men is very much there, and women are very interested in style,” he added.
