An Instagram founder and co-owner of $20 million fashion company BAPE, known for its cute and cheap clothing, died Friday at age 50.
The Los Angeles Times reported that BAPE founder, Andrew Miller, passed away of natural causes at his home in L.A. The company is listed on Nasdaq.BAPE is a fashion brand that focuses on men’s fashion, which was launched in 2015.
The fashion brand’s namesake, Andrew Bape, founded the company with his brother Andrew in 2004.
The brothers later opened their own clothing and footwear business, BAPE Sports.
Miller, who grew up in Los Angeles and attended the University of Southern California, is survived by his wife, Jennifer, and their two daughters, Liza and Olivia.
He will be greatly missed by his family and friends.
